The Day Is Here!

A beautiful start to our day today on the way in to take the kids to school! This is Chad Raap and I’ll be your host today and will do my best to keep you all posted on status as the day goes on. We just checked Trish in and surgery is scheduled for 11:00 and planned for 6 hrs.

9:30 AM

Ok ok, I know you are all asking the important questions. So today’s deep thought….

When you think about the circle is the most ridiculous shape in the world. There’s absolutely no point to it.

12:20 PM

They got a late start today and just took her to the OR. I took the opportunity to head upstairs for some fine dining and had a healthy salad! I’ve also been “upgraded” to the long-term waiting room where the fish are keeping me company.

3:40 PM

They just completed phase 1 and things went well and they did not find cancer in the lymph nodes so they have changed surgeons and started the reconstruction phase!!!

They have completed her surgery and everything went well! They are sending her to her recovery room and sounds like I’ll be able to see her within the hour!
